Visual Capabilities

The visual capabilities of the UN46C8000 is one of the things that make this model so desirable. It displays 1080p images at 240Hz and delivers a full spectrum of color not previously available. It has a thin (about 1 inch thick) and very light (weighing about 37 pounds) build and can be easily mounted on either the wall or its stand. It utilizes the new LED edge lit back lighting system and the 2D to 3D converter which allows for previously 2D images to be seen as 3D. It sharpens images and brightens the overall picture making for more realistic videos and more intense game playing.

Connectivity

With the UN46C8000 use of the newly released Internet@TV technology people now have more options in regards to their entertainment. You can now download movies, games and music into the content library as well as view the material online. This means that you can now listen to music on Pandora, watch videos on YouTube and visit your favorite social gathering, news, Samsung apps, stock and entertainment sites all from you couch. For added accessibility there is also two USB 2.0 ports on the side of the TV which enables the use of MP3 players, digital cameras and video cameras and thumb drives.
